Congratulations to Caleb Tasker & Dawson Wagner for representing AHS in the 2017 KMEA All-State Choir this past weekend at Century II. Along with 254 other singers from across the state, Caleb & Dawson gave an amazing concert with Dr. Andrea Ramsey of the University of Colorado at Boulder. Thank you to those of you who came to watch the concert. This week in choir... AMS & AHS Choirs will be working on analyzing text and technical elements to develop artistic performances for our upcoming concerts. AMS Solos/Ensembles will not practice in class this week. Practice will resume next Thursday and Friday following our concert. AHS Solos/Ensembles will have practice times available all week with Mrs. Hallford. Sign-up sheet is on the door in the back of the room. Greetings! I would like to start this weekly update by saying thank you! So many of you have expressed sympathy and concern for me in the loss of my father on January 25th. I appreciate very much every word, message, hug, thought and prayer. My AMS & AHS students have truly been amazing and so loving to me in this difficult time. Due to missing an entire week of school for the funeral, I am still a little behind where I would like to be at this point in the semester, but I am working hard to get caught up. One of my goals is to keep you informed about information in our classroom and also about upcoming events.
