I can't believe September is almost here!

The summer flew by for me, and the first week of school is already done! I have enjoyed getting to meet and know your students, and I am so happy to be a Trojan!

This week in choir...

AHS Choir students will be working on music in preparation for their Fall Concert on October 5th. 

AMS Choir students will be working on music in preparation for their September 27th concert. 

All students are working on music vocabulary, sight singing, and music theory. In addition, we have started learning about vocal health, music history, and how singing can be used outside of the choral classroom. 

Important Dates:
Friday, September 2 - AHS Madrigals sing National Anthem
      Online Syllabus acknowledgement forms DUE
Monday, September 5 - Labor Day - NO SCHOOL
Friday, September 9 - AHS Madrigals sing National Anthem
Tuesday, September 27 - AMS Choral Concert
Thursday, September 29 - GAD Concert in the Park (AHS Old School Edition & Madrigals)
Friday, September 30 - AHS Madrigals sing National Anthem
Wednesday, October 5 - AHS Choral Concert

Assignments & Due Dates:
Online Syllabus parent form is due this FRIDAY
AHS t-shirt and jacket orders & money are due by Friday, September 9
AMS polo money is due by Friday, September 9
